2009 QBS Award Recipients
QBS Indiana presented four awards to entities that and used qualifications selection to retain professional services in the "built" environment. Three awards were presented in the public works sector and one award was selected in the private sector.
Super Bowl 2012 Host Committee President Allison Melangton provided insight on how Indianapolis captured the hosting rights, just one year after losing the 2011 bid. Melangton also highlighted the extensive volunteer and committee opportunities available to business professionals as well as the events and scenery that will occur as Indianapolis takes the national stage in 2012.
The honorees contributed to the selection practices in the form of legislation, policy and registration, public advocacy programs, publications, and selection practices that promote QBS for securing professional services. Winners also were required to be located in the State of Indiana.
